It is official that I will be doing the review of my Viktor cosplay and the wig that I bought very soon. I picked up the wig this morning from my housing office and have tried it out but will have to trim and style the wig a bit before I take pictures for the post. Though overall I am very happy with it there are still dome minor things that I wish they would have done better. On a side note I slipped off of my Penny Nickle on the way to class today in the damp rain today. :( No major scrapes or injuries but I did get a few cuts on my left hand from bracing my fall,in order to keep from sliding across pavement into oncoming traffic. A huge thanks to my boss though, I ended up going straight to my bookstore where (where I work) to see if we had any big band-aids and she helped me get them on so I could still make it to class on time.       Hello Everyone! I am finally feeling better, I luckily only picked up a common cold though it had lingered around for some time I am fine. I returned to classes last week and am now picking back up on the blog in between catching up with my school work. What the wig is supposed to look like       Some of you may ask what's with the delay of the review of the Viktor cosplay that I said I was going to do. Well please don't fret I really hope I will have it up soon. I have started the post but wanted to wait for my Viktor wig to arrive though unfortunately China Post takes forever to get here, so I do apologize that it is the current reason that I have not done the review for you all. I ordered it back on March 11th if i'm right and the delivery date has a huge gap ranging from March 31st - April 30th if I remember correctly which is very disappointing... Just checked my amazon and at the moment my order says that it has arrived in the US but still...

Yup, guess who managed to catch this cold like sickness that's going around, that's right I did. How you ask - My roommate and my manager. Within the last two weeks both my roommate and my manager came down with really bad colds, my managers was written off as the common cold but my roommate was told that she may or may not have the flu which the entire apartment had been exposed to well before she went in to get a check up. Everything was going fine and no one else was showing symptoms though over the course of going to work and being exposed to the common cold working with my boss (who cous not take off because all the other managers were out on vacation and or sick themselves) and then coming home to a sick roommate I should have known I could not bypass the chance of catching something., which i unfortunately did. :( On a brighter note though I did recieve my Victor cosplay track suit in the mail yesterday and plan on doing a review here on the blog perhaps this weeken...

Just a simple little update. It's Saturday, not much to do but catch up on some math homework and think about future blog posts. I haven't drawn much of anything lately due to classes and work though I am looking for ideas and or requests of things to draw and I am always up for suggestions in the comments be low this post. Hey everyone as of yesterday I set up a Ko-Fi account in order to help with raising enough money to pay for my summer housing at my university. I will be moving into West Lake during the first week of May at the moment. Though at the same time I have to either pay in full or make two payments in order to be able to stay for the summer. I ended up getting a placement in the 3 bedroom single section so I will have to pay 1840$ in total for one full payment or I can choose to pay 920$ on the 1st of May and the 1st of June. Welp, it only really took the first episode for me to die in the fandom and want to try my hand at it soooo... I got a used pair on ebay for the hell of it.  I have been on the ice a few times now, fallen less than I thought I would but none the less fallen. While I do not have the money at the moment I would love to take lessons at some point. Many would say that there is no hope for me to start considering I am already 20 and will be 21 in may of this year - but eh to heck with them I just wanna have fun. Viktor has got to be my current favorite and as mentioned in yesterdays post I will be cosplaying him at Metrocon this year. I ordered his Track Suit online from Harajuku In Wonderland but can not give ant type of review for them yet as I have not gotten my cosplay yet. So it is official I am going to MetroCon this year. I actually got my ticket some time at the beginning of the month but have not had the chance to do a post here on the blog. My current line up for this event is : Viktor Nikiforov, Toph Beifong, Ciel Phantomhive (In wonderland). Raven (Teen Titans - Grey Timid version) At this very moment I am hand sewing my cloak for Raven with this tutorial Here  - Which I managed to cut my hood wrong on the first go round but ended up adding an extra seam. Pictures will be posted sometime soon on Instagram and then later here.  Currently planning to work on Toph after Raven since they are a bit simpler and I can take about an hour out of my busy week (or at least try) in order to work on making the cosplays. Viktor's cosplay id planned to be a summer project as I want to make sure I spend hella long making that one and making sure everything is correct, lol. And last but not least, I already have my Ciel in Wonderland cosplay...

I am a student and I work part time at my University Bookstore. I am sure that I have mentioned this before in many other posts but I though I would explain it a bit more in depth. This semester I Have four upper level classes that I go to Tuesday - Thursday. Two of my classes meet twice in that time frame and then the other two meet once. Aside from that I work all other days (including Sunday when asked). Hours can range from 7:45 A.M - 6 P.M Monday -Thursday when I am not in class. 7:45 A.M - 5 P.M. on Fridays and occasionally 9:45 - 2 P.M on Saturdays. Leaving Sundays to be my only free day aside from having to do homework or room cleaning. I literally don't have time to do much of anything, LOL - I'll make it though. I know its hard to seem as though this blog will ever catch on but I really hope that is does. In the mean time please do go check me out on other social media.     Hey everyone, once again I took quite some time off from the blog. During this time I have dedicated more time to my second Instagram  @CCwithRae which is now hosting my Art, Photography and of course Cosplay coming soon. I've been playing the game for about an hour with no complaints other than the constant disconnections from the server, though I feel like it may just be an issue with my network in general considering that my college campus WiFi has been going crazy ever since I came back to school... lets be honest here though even the wired connection sucks. Though back to the game which looks amazing by the way, the mountains are covered in thick mounds of snow with patches of mountain rock and ice patches that you feel through the vibration feedback from the controller. The game consists of walking, Skiing, Paragliding, Snowboarding, and a Wingsuit, which you can use to either free roam or complete challenges for each of the different sports. Well not quite, it's just been over a month since i've been back at school and it is still taking forever to settle back into a comfortable pace. Though with the time that i have spent away from my blog here I have had a few moments to play what I would like to share with you all within the next few posts, such as a new Copic marker update, art project updates such as finally showing off a piece that i started the last week of summer and have brought back to school with me to do a time-lapse recording of and much more. So if you haven't heard because you're living under a rock, your parents are hiding it from you or perhaps you just checked out of the world completely, Pokémon Go has been out for some time now. People have been almost shot, killed and have somehow gotten lost (How the hell did they manage - like yo the game uses google maps) playing this game. Like really come on guys get it together. I downloaded the game the same night it came out wanting to play only for the servers to be down and stay down for the majority of that first week of initial playing. Granted it has gotten a little better since then though it still has slow load time when the app first opens and has a tendency of making me sign in again at least once a day. Though the game could use some upgrades like adding in the Trading feature which was shown in the initial trailer before launch, and the option to battle friends, I think the App is off to a good start which could lead to a much better outcome as people ...

       I was doing so well and yet again I have fallen off from doing updates. YES! So if you weren't watching the E3 press conference last night you may have missed the announcement that not only is Crash Bandicoot 1 getting a remaster for the PS4. But Crash Bandicoot 2 and Crash Bandicoot: Warped are also getting reboots for the console. The announcement was brief and also hard to catch at the time considering that they went straight into the Skylanders trailer which showed that Crash is also making an appearance in that game as well. It is said that the games still have to be built from the ground up at this point so it will be some time before we actually see the Crash games on the console. Personally I hope that it isn't a long wait, Crash being one of my favorite PSX games as a kid and all, I was told in a chat yesterday on the livestream that if not this holiday season we should see it at the beginning of next year, which isn't bad considering we all know everyone is simply tired of waiting for this game to come out. -Rae June 15th, ...

Hello there if you didn't know already I have set up my Patreon once again, This time around unfortunately I don't have prints to send out until about mid-Aug. This is the time that I get back to my school dorm at FGCU, which is when I get the chance to pull out all of my printing stuff and make lovely prints for those who subscribed to my Patreon. Even though prints won't be mailed out till then you will all still be receiving linework to color. Here is the reward tiers. Hey there and welcome back - Today I am finally talking about my small collection of Copic Markers. 17 copic sketch 18 Copic Ciao I got my first markers two years back during Christmas time - The sets and singles I got that year made up the 17 sketch markers that I have now and my first 6 Ciao markers which were the skin tones. Since then I have bought single Ciao markers that are normally on sale from Joanns Art Supply store in order to expand my collection. I would love to do a better review of the markers at some point on my blog, though I had to leave them in storage for the summer, luckily the building is climate control so I don't have to worry too much about them being ruined while they are there. Lungs So I finished them up finally, though lacking some detail I think on the outer muscle tissue. I did record the process for the coloring of the lungs but have not had the time to edit and trim the video up yet. Aside from that coloring this piece was fairly difficult considering the fact that I did not use a reference the majority of the time while coloring and adding detail. I prefer solid backgrounds like in the first picture though felt the need to change it up to keep the picture from becoming too flat.
